Blackout Dates Policy
To help ensure smooth daily operations and continued support for our patients, certain high-demand dates throughout the year may be designated as blackout dates for requests and schedule changes for office staff.
These dates typically include major holidays, peak operational periods, emergency preparedness situations, and other times when full office coverage is especially important. The purpose of this policy is to maintain appropriate staffing levels while continuing to provide excellent service and support to our patients, field staff, referral sources, and partners.
We understand the importance of work-life balance and personal time, and the agency will make every reasonable effort to handle scheduling fairly and consistently among team members. Whenever possible, blackout dates are published in advance to allow staff adequate time for planning.
To help maintain proper office coverage and workflow continuity, no more than one office employee may be on vacation or approved PTO at the same time, unless otherwise approved by management based on operational needs and staffing availability.
Employees are encouraged to submit requests as early as possible, as approvals outside blackout periods will continue to be granted based on operational needs and staffing availability.
Thank you for your understanding, teamwork, and continued dedication to patient care and agency operations.
